Natalie Sloane has lived her life in everyone's shadow for most of her life. Until she got a job at the FBI. She viewed her life as a dream that someone could steal away from her at any moment. And that's exactly what happened.  Natalie transferred away from the BAU thinking this would help. This helped her escape her old life that was killing her, but gave her new tragic memories. 

What happens when she comes back almost 2 years later thinking the past is not a problem? Until some things or someone from her past try to close her eyes. 

She discovers a whole new world and gets her old family back. The only thing she needed was an eye opener.
