Broken Hearted

Alex was a guy in love. He'd do anything to make the girl of his dreams happy, if only she answered him. Emily's been holding Alex's heart hostage and he doesn't know why until she finally answers, telling him that she'd been feeling the same way and although she can't say they can be a couple, they still try to manage being friends, keeping their situation secret from everyone else. His life finally goes back on track, Emily nudging him along the way, but when the only thing keeping him alive moves further and further away, he can't tell whether she ever actually loved him.
