Shadow's back story was tough. He lost his family and was taken way to 'live' in a small white room. People in white coats constantly proceeded with experiments on him and what was torture.
He wished to break free to see the wonders of the world he drew on the walls of the room.
Will he break free? Or will his past taunt him still?

After the tragic events that unfolded between his capture and split persona, Sonic slowly becomes insane and falls into the arms of his former capture. His corrupted persona goes through a chain of traumatic events that leads him to believe that love from Shadow was always artificial. All of this leads to both personas attempting to become the most perfect versions of themselves. In this journey to becoming perfect, Sonic finds out about Shadow's dark past that led him to becoming the cold blooded killer that he did. This is a Sonadow AU where Shadow is an alien from a different universe. He finds Mobius and tries to become the most powerful... but without anyone noticing him. He is trying to become one of them. But only Amy Rose is aware of Shadow's illness after witnessing Shadow consuming human and Mobian remains behind a restaurant dumpster. Amy vows to keep Shadow's condition a secret not only for the safety of Sonic and the gang but for the universe...but if G.U.N finds out the ultimate life form and their top agent as dangerous... it could result in him being held captive, being detained against his will and experimented on as long as possible. Despite the life threatening situation, Shadow and Amy's connection grows closer and closer which ultimately leads to them having an affair which eventually leads them to being together, much to the disdain of not only Sonic, but to the entire group, unfortunately, it later becomes a weakness which will give Mephiles a possible one up against the team Will Amy and the rest of the crew find a cure for Shadow's condition or will he forever be Mephiles' murderous puppet?
