Raleigh "Leigh" Nayson gave up her dreams of being involved in film when she was accepted to attend Johns Hopkins University for medical school. Now an established trauma doctor who recently completed her surgery fellowship, Leigh has a world of open hospital doors waiting for her. When an old college friend calls her up and offers her a job in film writing in London, however, Leigh's love for film is rekindled and she takes a leap.

It isn't until she finds herself in London that Leigh, who was previously a bachelorette by force of a busy schedule, meets people she had been waiting her whole life for. But fame woven into the film industry is lethal and it pays a toll on everyone Leigh holds dear; the phrase goes "love and fame can't live in the same place" for a reason.
