Nagisa Shiota, a boy in his senior year at Kunugigaoka high school, 3-E class, or as they call it, End Class. He was always abused by his mother at home for a couple of reasons. One, being in the lowest class of his school. Secondly, she thinks that he is becoming defiant as he was moved into the lowest class.

One day, he had came in early with a bruised up face and a bandaged arm. Karasuma, who was first at that had arrived, saw this and asked, but he was simply ignored. The others also asked, but he just shrugged and smiles.
