Huangxiao is a century-old fox demon that lives by taking the souls of human beings around him, one day, he makes the mistake of wandering too close to the village. After nearly being killed by a mob of villagers inside a bamboo forest, he finds himself all patched up in his small fox form safe inside a hut with a short-haired man weaving bamboo baskets.

He found out his name was Qiaozhi. Qiaozhi, a kind man with the purest of souls.

If Huangxiao ate his soul he surely will become powerful.
