17 year old Aura Jackson knows nothing beyond the walls of Arcadia, her hometown and the reason for her suffering. Struggling with PTSD after witnessing the gruesome murder of her mother doesn't help her sleepless nights, fearing that she would be next; and certainly doesn't help with paying the bills for her family. Now add in a psycho stalker, a hormonal sister and an irreplaceable hate for the 'upper worlders' (a tribe of rich bratty upper class snobs), and you get a pretty good idea of turmoil she calls life...
