Assisting him up, I noted the lack of eye contact and the sunless aura that surrounded him.
"Totally my fault," I insisted, releasing his hand. Now, he looked at me, and I couldn't help but notice his surprisingly pretty features. I wondered what he looked like when he smiled, although something in the air suggested that smiles were a rare occurrence for him.
