Genevieve McGonagall is a Gryffindor and is the Niece of Professor Minerva McGonagall as her friends and family call her Genny. She is just starting her Fifth Year at Hogwarts along with her Close friends Fred and George Weasley who are also close with the rest of the Weasley family and Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. After finding out that there was going to be a new Professor teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts, that was when everything changes, not just for Harry and his friends but for Genevieve as well when something happened between herself and Professor Lupin but what she doesn't know is what will shock her later on when she finds out what had happened between the both of them on the first day of classes but what she is feeling isn't fear, it's love  for the man who is forced to change into something that causes him to think himself to be a monster, but that was until everything changed between both Genevieve and himself when she finds out everything. What will happen when she does, will she stay and work things out with him, or will she leave him and fear him for the rest of their lives.

After the friends exchange a few words the compartment door slides open the tiniest of bits. A boy with brown hair and shocking blue eyes asked if he and his sister could sit with them. June agrees and they enter the compartment. They introduced themselves as Justin and Thea, twins, and both Ravenclaws. June's hopes of an uneventful year die after the train ride leads to Dementors searching the train for an escaped murderous prisoner. Shortly after arriving at school, the students learn that the soul-sucking creatures from the train had been placed outside and around the school's perimeters in case the escapee tries to enter the school grounds. Soon June learns of her Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, Remus Lupin is a werewolf. And that he knew both her parents. Later the young girl learns that the friendly shaggy-haired dog is the escaped prisoner? And that he was Harry's godfather? All that's certain is that this school year will not be uneventful. No year at Hogwarts is, especially with famous Harry Potter there.

She was tired, she was so bloody tired of it all. From the constant nagging and picking and pulling to the waking up at 6 am everyday to do that stupid crap. She didn't think it was stupid really, she just didn't like having to do it. She didn't really like having to do schoolwork either, but she found herself to be fond of the teachers and the curriculums. Most of all though, she didn't mind being at school all too much because it kept her away from the house. She found James to be nice, and Sirius to be troublesome, Peter was quite thoughtful, but Remus, he was kind to her. She had found that Remus was her favorite of them all, he was really very kind to her. What she had really come to see though, was the fact that he had scars too, and that meant they matched. Mature content. There are certain parts of this story that I will put a trigger warning before but you should keep cautioun when reading because I mention a lot of triggering things and topics in this book including self harm, abuse, mental illnesses etc. Also, the first year is really shitty writing and like the first part of fourth but I swear it gets so much better. I just haven't gotten around to editing the bad bits yet :( Credit to J.K. Rowling for the characters and parts of the plot and obviously Hogwarts fandom and Everything Harry Potter related.
