Atlas is an elf who believes that magic corrupts people's minds. Whether that means they become practically insane like their Aunt Cassandra, or possibly evil like their mother. Nonetheless, they are attempting to collect a magical amulet that their mother has requested, only problem is that a certain Wizard in training has dedicated herself to protecting said amulet.

Destiny believes that magic is an arsenal of tools. Spells are her arrows, a spell book is her quiver, and a wand is her bow. She believes in studying things other than magic, other tools such as sword fighting, dancing, martial arts, literature, and science. She believes there's more than one solution for each problem, and yet when she comes to Atlas, she doubts there's any solution at all. She has decided to protect this amulet at all cost, even if that means being trapped in a game that neither she nor Atlas can win.
