I do not own Among Us. I am simply making a fan story. I give full credit to owner and creators of the game.

This is my own AU of Among us

TW: This will include blood and death

12 astronauts have trained for years on a special project. A new planet has been discovered, named Polus. The company M.I.R.A is sending these astronauts, Red, Green, Lime, Orange, Blue, Yellow, Purple, Black, White, Brown, Cyan, and Pink, onto an advanced spacecraft called The Skeld. They are also allowed to bring some of their children. Some of these astronauts are couples, cousins, and siblings. The mission is going smoothly, until a dormant alien species stored in The Skeld awakens. Now, there is an invasion inside the spaceship that the crewmates thought was safe. Things get even worse when the aliens possess two of the crewmates and starts killing everyone. The team starts to panic as they realize that there is something... Among them. Once they think they are safe by killing these imposters, things get weirder when the events start repeating, just with different people. Will they be able to find out who the imposter is and save themselves? Will they ever find a place to be safe? And what is the secret M.I.R.A. is hiding from them?

"Congratulations, Miss Duri. You're leading the fifty-fifth voyage to Polus." My initial giddiness wore away under a new and frankly uninvited sense of suspicion. Only an hour ago they were set on selecting anyone but me. What made them change their mind so quickly? "We were wrong about you, Genesis," the woman said. "We now believe you have the potential to do what your unlucky peers could not. However, you should know that there is no room for mistakes." Nareem leaned forward and picked up his chin. On a normal basis, he was about as intimidating as a rabbit. Now, though, he was pretty close to the office cat's level. "Don't mess this up for us, Miss Duri. Otherwise the consequences will be a lot worse than death." --- Genesis has always wanted to lead a mission to the Polus Space Station, orbiting a Jupiter moon millions of miles away. While each attempt to get there has been compromised by the scheming, violent Conclave, Genesis's hopes to become the next captain of the Skeld have not once faltered. When she finally gets the opportunity of a lifetime, Genesis quickly discovers that, despite her caution, all is not what it seems. Her superiors have maintained minimal contact, and she has reason to believe any one of her crewmates could be an imposter. Once the killings begin, she must act quickly to outwit the Conclave before she and all her crewmates are murdered in cold blood. --- **The characters are original, but this story is based off a game called Among Us. The concept of spaceship crewmates being killed by an imposter does not belong to me, but to the game developers (Innersloth). They also came up with the names "Polus" and "Skeld", as well as the layout of the space station most of the story is set in and the tasks crewmates are required to do. ***Content warnings: murder, peril, mentions of blood

The door slid open without a sound and I found myself punched in the gut. All along the walls were pictures of friends and family. How could I take this away from someone? All of this opportunity and hope? Who was I to decide that he should die? I saw fearful grey eyes staring up at me. "I'm sorry about this. It'll be over soon." Looking away, I slit his throat. His body fell to the ground with a thud and I took a step back. I had just killed someone whose name I didn't even know... K'dela has always been trained to always follow orders. No matter how you think about it, no matter how wrong it seems to be, never, ever, question it. Your life might depend on it. But when orders are to kill others, doesn't it mean that you're sacrificing others, potentially thousands of others, just to save one life; yourself? Honestly, K'dela never had a big problem with it, until she met someone who might just be worth defying orders for. TRIGGER WARNING: Violence, blood, death. Get ready for betrayal at every step, secrets kept, and murder just around the corner. Clasher has been consistently told one thing since his childhood: Never let anyone know who you are. This, coupled with the fact that he's on dangerous missions half the time, doesn't let anyone find out anyway. But danger looms closer, and he will soon have to make a choice. Either keep his secret (and himself) safe, or risk it all to help his new crew. TW: Blood and violence, mentions of su!c!de but does not go in-depth into the subject.
