Ingrid Johnson is starting a new school for 5th grade. Since kindergarten, she has always done her schooling in a Basis school. Now she's in Basis Phoenix Primary. The only thing is that the coronavirus is spreading; she's still doing in person to keep her education up. Her parents are considering to send her and her sister to online Great Hearts or ASU Prep, but she doesn't want to. She's been in Basis all her life, so why change now?

Ace Bailey has been in Basis Phoenix Primary since kindergarten. He's the type of person who shouts out something funny when the the teacher says something. In other words, he's a total badass/ jokester. His mother is considering to send him in online, too.

The governor is being incredibly stupid, and won't make masks mandatory. But the residents of Arizona are pleading the governor do at least something do make themselves safer. So the governor makes a deal.

Whatever that deal is, just know that it somehow involves Ingrid and Ace. During this year though, they both don't know that they might just develop feelings for each other that they were so desperately trying to ignore. . . . .
