Leonardo Gabrielli's life is as unsuccessful as it gets. While all his old peers go off to college and create lives for themselves, he works a day job at a run down burrito joint and lives alone with his cat, Cici. Right as he gets comfortable with his monotonous life, a mysterious package arrives at his doorstep--and within it, an intricate dreamcatcher. Now whenever he goes to sleep, he finds himself in a faraway realm full of mythical societies, terrifying conflict...and his weird next door neighbor, Destiny.
