Stiles was kidnapped at a young age, taken by a rogue part of the FBI that had branched off. WCKD is what it was called. A company that developed a virus unleashed upon the driest parts of California, infecting many small towns and cities. They took kids at random, never having a real pattern. The only constant was where the kids were taken. A town called Beacon Hills.
