Stormchaser has always wondered what her destiny is. She wonders if she even has one. Why is she alive? What is her purpose? She has had a tough relationship with her mother over the years, when her father dies, it gets worse. Her mother remarries a NightWing that is the total opposite of her biological father. Stormchaser has hopes that his son, her new step brother, is at least a bit nice to her. Instead, She's treated like a slave, by her mother, her stepfather and her step brother.

She will be pushed beyond her limits, causing her to take action to save herself, her friends, maybe the whole world! Along the way Stormchaser will meet new friends and unknown family. Will she be able to save Pyrriah with the help of her new pals- or will she have broken almost every rule she lived by, for nothing?
