Hailie Dawson and her younger brother, Joel are brought to Harlow, British Columbia Canada to live with their aunt after their mother passes away under unusual and mysterious conditions.
Hailie catches on to the strange things occurring in her new dreary home. Sometimes people vanish and when, or if they are ever found they come back differently. Then there's also the mentioning of vampires.
Rory and Hailie take interest in one another soon after her arrival in Harlow. It isn't long until they come together as a couple and are inseparable.
Hailie is unaware, but Rory is hiding life-changing secrets. One of them being, he was cursed at birth with a rare disease that will later transform him into a vampire.
Now, while being hunted by Damian Ashford, the vampire hunter. Rory desperately searches for a way to reverse the curse.
Whenever Rory's secrets are revealed and Hailie finds out the truth, it changes things between them. Now that Hailie knows, will that keep her away from him? Or will it somehow make their bond even stronger?
