The famous Lotus Trio of Yunmeng are known far and wide for the valiant night-hunting and of course, good looks. But not just them. There are the Twin Jades of Gusu, Golden Duo of Lanling, Four Flames of Qishan, and the ruthless Qinghe Devils. But their time of merriment and freedom come to an end, with all about to turn into adults, and have their lives changed forever.
Jiang Heir Jiang Wanyin and Jiang Mistress Jiang Yanli are to be betrothed. To which man and woman of which sect... is up to them to decide.
Or is it?
And amidst it all... Wei Wuxian is the most troubled he had ever been. The great Hanguang-Jun ends up falling for a mere servant. To Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji doesn't seem right. There's something amiss in Lan Zhan, something hidden deep underneath the ice casket surrounding the younge Jade's heart that he yearns to find out. And then there's his silly shidi and gentle shijie, who are struggling to accept the fact that they've been torn away from their beloved.
Not to mention, the rise of the masked hero, the Dark Knight, Heiguang-Jun. Hero or villain? Good or bad? White or black? And exactly who is he?
There's so much to solve on his plate, but will Wei Wuxian be able to answer it all? Or will he have to watch his loved ones suffer?
Or perhaps... sacrifice himself in their stead?

During the Siege of the Burial Mounds, he was captured, forced to watch in horror as those he vowed to protect were brutally slaughtered before his very eyes. Jīn Guāngshàn didn't just stop there. He tricked the entire world, making them believe that Wèi Wúxiàn was dead. In reality, Wèi Wúxiàn was imprisoned in the dark, cold cells beneath Lánlíng Jīn Clan, tortured mercilessly by Jīn Guāngshàn, his bastard son, and their men, all to pry out the secret of the Yīn Hǔ Fú. But Wèi Wúxiàn refused to break. He was cast back into the Burial Mounds once again, left to die alone. With his last breath, filled with fury and anguish, he swore revenge on the entire cultivation world. He never expected that someone-or something-would hear him. This time, he makes a different choice: he won't join any clan. Instead, he will become a rogue cultivator, honoring his parents by walking his own path. But fate isn't done with him. While traveling the roads, Wèi Wúxiàn is kidnapped by slave traders and sold to women who bought him at a staggering price. Just when he thinks his second life is doomed, he is taken to Crimson Blossoms, a brothel that rescues children. Perhaps this life is not as merciless as he thought... ...Or is it?

Jiang Fengmian and Yu Ziyuan's marriage was not a loving one, no matter how much they tried to make it appear amicable. In fact, if you saw the two interact, you would swear they were mortal enemies. Despite their differences however, Yu Ziyuan had hoped that her husband would, at the very least, try to put some effort into loving their children as his own, even if he didn't love her. That hope was unfortunately squashed when her husband brought home a dirt covered brat, who he held with a care that he had never shown to his own son or daughter. Outraged at her husband's boldness to treat someone else's son better than his own children, within his own home to boot, Yu Ziyuan takes a page from her husband's book, and goes out on her own to bring home the son of someone else. As a result, their already deteriorating marriage becomes even worse. Their anger and hatred towards each other becomes so strong that it begins to affect not only the people within Lotus Pier, but also their relationship with their two biological children. Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli end up being neglected and treated as mere objects for the two adults to project their anger onto. When the adults weren't getting physical with them, they acted as if they had completely forgotten that their son and daughter existed, focusing only on the children they had adopted into their makeshift family. In an attempt to relieve themselves of their abusive parents, the two children decide to run away to Lanling Jin, where Jiang Yanli hoped her fiance's parents would help them. However, neither of the children make it to Koi Tower. What will Yunmeng Jiang and the other great sects do when they discover that the Jiang siblings are missing? And how will they react when they find out what became of the missing children a few years later? *I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THESE CHARACTERS OTHER THAN THE OCs*

Wen RuoHan is defeated and Wei WuXian lies in the courtyard of the Fire Palace as if dead. The Healers can't detect his Golden Core because of the mass of resentful energy swirling through his dantians and meridians. In an effort to save his life, Lan WangJi begs the Jiang siblings to allow him to take Wei WuXian back to Gusu. Reluctantly, they agree; the tranquility of Cloud Recesses will aid his healing far more than working to restore Lotus Pier will. Wei WuXian is not so sure that being GusuLan's prisoner is the better choice. He wished they'd just get on with the trial and execution instead of these ineffective attempts to Heal him. ~*~ This is a mature fiction. Not suitable for children. I will be using sexually explicit language and descriptions. This is the only warning I'll give.
