Just like everything else in the little town of Storybrooke, Maine, Sera Graves is oblivious to how unusual it is that no matter how much time goes by, she never seems to age. With her memory wiped and her past rewritten, she no longer remembers her true identity as Karina Jones, one of the fiercest pirates to have ever sailed the seven seas, along side her older brother, Killian, better known to the word as Captain Hook.
But when a mysterious woman named Emma Swan suddenly comes to town, the walls of this so called perfect reality begin to crumble and the truth slowly seeps through the cracks; including the dark truth of what happened to the Sister Jones, so many years ago.
