From a young age he was always made to be known as different, but not in the way you would think. He wasn't quirky and 'not like other boys'. But he was special. Very special. And he wasn't even aware of it himself.
Life was difficult for him, losing his parents at a young age was hard, being put into the foster care system was hard, being isolated and disliked was hard. This was effecting him to the point where he was struggling to get by day by day.
He was depressed, broken and abused.
No one wanted him
Now 15 and being kicked from a foster home yet again, Lloyd Garmadon, a 5'4 boy, is referred to a children's orphanage.
After everything he has gone (and still going) through, little lloyd has become a quiet, isolated boy and struggles settling into his new home. And when it comes to his first day at his new school, well, lets just say that a pair of unforgettable honey brown eyes appear, and dont seem to be leaving any time soon..

This is my second attempt at writing a fanfiction and im hoping it will be a lot better.

(May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet... Non-canon ships are not implied but take it as you wish, just not greenflame because no. He gives them the chance to a new life. How will their broken mindsets and crippling fears affect them and their parts in a prophecy?
