Senior Year is the year Marissa Taylor has been waiting for since she started as a freshmen four years ago. The quiet but smart, friendly, and hardworking senior is ready to focus on everything she has to do to get her scholarship and full ride to Princeton University set. Distractions? No, that's a word Marissa doesn't need to listen or entertain. But Marissa's best friend Nikki has other plans. Telling her best friend she can't miss out on probably one of the biggest parties of the year, Nikki drags her out on a Friday night to show her some much needed fun. What Marissa didn't expect was to have her first almost real kiss in a room with no one other than the popular but intense Ryan Kavanaugh.

Ryan Kavanaugh has the world at his feet and he knows it. But being the starry quarterback of his high school and having girls fall into his bed with many others in line will do that to a guy. The 18 year-old knows he has it all especially when scouts from USC starts looking at him to be their new star for next year. Distractions? No that's not even in Ryan's vocabulary to describe his senior year. So why is it the one thing that's distracting him is the girl who's sits two tables in front of him in class with her perfect blue eyes, sexy freckles on her nose and cheeks, and thick brown hair that he wants to run and grab his hands through all he can think about?

These two couldn't be more opposite from one another. But why is it when she's around him he reminds him of someone she used to know. And why when they talk he feels like he can open up to her and finally be himself or a better version of himself?
So, when these two meet again under total different circumstances will a friendship or relationship form?
