The war was over. At long last, Voldemort was dead, and this time, he won't return. Unfortunately, those who were attending Hogwarts during the war were unable to learn anything. So of course, when Hogwarts sent all those students letters offering to have the re-do their previous year, everyone jumps at the chance, all of them thinking that they would finally have a peaceful, or at least uneventful, year at Hogwarts. It wasn't one. Perhaps Draco Malfoy was partially responsible for that. Perhaps the year was doomed to be chaotic from the day it began. However, that was before they seemed to forget all about him. He at least had his brother, Harry Potter, but he too had gotten no letters from their friends. Then one day a small creature wearing a pillowcase showed up in their shared bedroom and told them that they absolutely, positively could not go back to school under any circumstance. Of course, the small creature wearing a pillowcase was resolutely ignored and they went back to school to start their second year anyway. Then things started to go wonky, what with all the strange voices and massive spiders. But then things got even stranger.
