She has been hiding her condition from her friends, but the other managers of the Fukurodani knew. It was when her parents arrived at the hospital when the managers blurted. "Please perform a surgery for her, Y/N has Hanahaki Disease" Her parents made Y/N agrees to take the surgery with a certain condition. Akaashi talks to his childhood friend before her surgery telling her "see you later", not knowing that it'll the last time he saw her. 6 month later on a faithful day, The Fukurodani Volleyball team meet Y/N again at a Training camp as Karasuno's Manager.
