Silent Wounds

In this world having powers is against the law. If you are caught with powers you get sent away. Powers tend to come to the surface when you are a child so you would spend your whole life locked up. Like Gabriel. Gabriel lost his mother in an accident that was his father's fault causing his powers to come forth giving him away and getting him caught by the SSC.

Or if you're unlucky the Red Snakes will get their hands on you. They will torture you, drug you, and experiment on you. You're treated like you are worth less than dirt, which to them you are. For eight years that was Zero's life. After Zero's only parental figure dies Zero is caught by the Red Snakes and endures eight long years until finally, they escape. They are homeless for a little over a year before the SSC catches them.

What will Zero and Gabriel do when they find out not everything is as it seems? What secrets will unfold? Will supers finally be welcomed into society?
