PROLOGUE

I don’t know what
it is about these past few days. The air feels heavier, feels different. I know
that something’s gonna happen, I can feel it wrecking my bones. It’s probably
all these damn assignments that’s making me feel like a walking CORPSE. I
grabbed my old raggedy bag and ran down the steps, mom was in the kitchen as
usual.

 “Alexandria, why
can’t you be more responsible? Have u any idea what time it is? You’re going to
be late for school again!”

“Oh school! What a joy”, I rushed out the door and waved mom
goodbye before I got another earful from her about my untidy appearance.
