Holly loves Christmas. Nicholas hates it.

For Holly Wilson, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. With all the presents, tree lightings, and family traditions, she can't wait for every minute of it. For Nicholas Cross, Christmas is the most dreadful time of the year, mainly because he hates anything that has to do with "holiday cheer." But both of their winter vacation plans are ruined when they find out they'll be spending twelve days together, including Christmas. 

The bells are ringing, the children are singing, but Holly and Nicholas aren't merry and bright.
