The year is 2170, the world has changed a lot after a long war between humanity and the supernatural. When the war ended anyone who showed any signs of any abnormality or opposition to the government was driven away, forced out into the woodland that had by engulfing the majority of the country. Icarus Goodwin is one of these forest dwellers, a man who is running from his past which is full of mistakes that he doesn't want to ever make again. While on the path to goodness and living his life the way he wishes, an unknown evil strikes small towns and destroys everything in its path. Now it's up to this ex hunter and friends new and old to save the world before it descends into madness and death.

Vampires were pretty common in southern British Columbia and being not-quite-human herself she was bound to run into them. Now she must race against time to locate her ex-girlfriend back in her old home in hopes of saving her new one. On top of that she must do it with a handsome vampire she barely knows! Living a drama-free and super-natural-free life seemed to be out of the question when the head of the local vampire clan shows up demanding she recover a special artefact for him or the entire town would face his wrath.
