At the age of 10, Emmie became orphaned and was diagnosed with anxiety disorder, PTSD, and depression. Soon after she was admitted into an orphanage and foster care, families by families pass by Emmie. No one wanted her... As she started to feel unlovable her mind tried to make sense of it. Who would want a kid with a troubled and traumatic past when they can adopt a baby and raise as them as they're own. But that soon changed just as she was about to turn 18 and "age out" of foster care. Her social worker, Andrew, decided that he wanted to take her in and give her a home. Even though Emmie had heard roomers of Andrew being a physical abuser in his past she agrees. If only her future self could've made her realize how big of a mistake she's made.
