Kara had changed after her best friend, Luke, abandoned her after his parent's divorce. It's been two years and her hope for his return has diminished. She had become bitter and cold and had built a barrier around her. After a new guy comes into the picture, her whole life changes and the barrier that has been her safe haven begins to break apart as the new guy, Collin, slowly repairs the broken girl who may fall for him in the end.
