A mere gulp could enhance the dagger and pierce his skin, though the thought of an untimely death was whisked away as he looked up, staring into Aphmau's warm onyx eyes. They blazed with fury like wildfire, engulfing the man in the flames until heat overcame him, and with a lurching heartbeat, the man leaned forwards and lay his lips on the raven-haired warrior.

The life of the princess from Aphrodite Kingdom. A year has passed. They have been running around and have ended up 3,863 miles from home now. The princess was running fast through the pouring rain trying to get away from him. Her muscles ached but she continued. She looked back thinking she had lost him until she bumped into something. It was him. They stood there, just staring at each other. The princess could tell the prince was injured because he stumbled toward her. He dropped his sword, "wha- what are you doing *prince name*?" he gave a slight smirk but also winced in pain. "You win princess, you were always going to". She stood there trying to process the words that he just spoke and what had just happened. "You heard me princess, now's your chance to finally end it all." The princess got her dagger and aimed it at his heart, he stood there, accepting his fate. Though he was originally only made the Alpha of the pack due to his curse, he was a kind and strong leader who proved his worth. His curse could turn a human to a werewolf or kill them with a single glimpse of his crimson eyes. Of course, that wasn't really the most annoying part of being the Ultima. The annoying part was the constant beating of his soulmates heartbeat that he could hear in his ears. All. the. Time. And he desperately wanted to meet them. The Kingdom of Ru'aun was rich and plentifully, if you were lucky enough to live in the inner city, Falcon Claw. Outside of those walls was where the poor stayed poor and poverty stayed brutally common. There were 11 closely built towns, but the 3 biggest were O'khasis, Scaleswind, and the Neapolitan villages. That was not where Aphmau was. She was born and raised in a small village far to the east called Phoenix Drop. She was thrown into guard training by her parents at the age of 12 to give her an opportunity in life. After 6 years of intense, tiring combat training and schooling, she'd been chosen to move to the castle as a guard. Of course, she wasn't expecting to be guarding the Crowned Prince of the Falcon Claw Castle. If she had the chance to go back to that day, she'd take that chance and run for the hills while she still could. 19 year old Prince Aaron, wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. He didn't want to be watched over, he didn't want to be guarded, he just wanted to be left alone for once in his life. With his luck, that was impossible. He never wanted the crown. He was intelligent enough to rule and he acknowledged that but he always wished he could just be free of his binding curse.
