With her armies beginning to grow ,the new high king along with the holy church decides that the only way to save the kingdoms of Lerona they must band Aviva Durant and Poet Corrigan, two master hunters and both powerful heads of their own houses made famous for their technique of hunting dangerous beast. The only thing wrong about this is that these houses were also made famous for warring against each other, and Poet is out for justice against his father's killer, A knight of Durant that murdered his mother and father in cold blood.

Thousands of centuries ago humans, vampires, and werewolves lived together in harmony, considering one equal to the other. Ruled by a council of three kings, with one from each fullblood race, peace endured for quite some time.
