As an egg, Autumn was cursed. Every three months she must kill the dragon assigned to her by her uncle, or she will die. But two months before she has to kill again, she meets Hopeseeker, a funny, excitable, slightly crazy male Nightwing who means everything to her. They begin to meet in the stolen moments before dawn. But when their secret meetings are discovered, Autumn and her uncle move to the knotted canyon, a canyon so windy it basically goes around in circles. Autumn misses Hopeseeker so much, she decides to run away. When Autumn arrives at the Nightwing home, she is devastated to find that Hopeseeker vanished a week ago, disappearing without a trace. Autumn decides to find Hopeseeker, and his friends and sister, Eclipse join Autumn on her quest to find him. But the time where Autumn must kill again is drawing closer with each passing day. Will she have to kill one of her new friends? Or will she let herself perish?

She arrives at sundown with a seemingly fake reason for being late. It throws Sunny, her adopted aunt, into worry as it seems her niece has changed. But why? And why does she keep having visions of nothing but pitch blackness? Did something happen to her niece? And what will happen when a bully Skywing keeps making her doubt that being a hybrid is somehow wrong? Will Spirit be able to recover her regular self or will she give up and become a doormat? And how will a secret admirer come into play? Especially when Spirit begins to get more visions of strange giant creatures deep within the ocean. After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. Hybrid
WoF Fanfiction - discontinued and really bad Hybrid was, well, a hybrid. She used to have a good life, kept hidden from the public. She didn't know what type of dragon she was and had no friends, but that didn't matter. She had her icewing dad, who took her out hunting and loved her enough to make up for everything else twofold. She thought that her difference wasn't necessarily bad. That all changed one day. Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. Another icewing took down her father, killing him for harboring a hybrid. Hybrid was dumped in the desert outside of the wall, where she was found by a sandwing. The sandwing drug her out to die in the dunes. She survived. Barely. After being stabbed by the sandwing's tail barb, she thought she was done for. The last thing that she remembered was her front talons feeling way too cold, especially in contrast to her sunburnt body. Then, black. When she woke up, she was even more different. A/N: I apologize, because, looking back, I kind of lost any inspiration for the first idea, can't mesh it with the idea I tried to throw in, and it would not make sense to ignore either of them....... So yeah this is discontinued, it's really a bad story. I may revamp it into a situation that makes more sense some time in the near future, though. This book is a little outdated and will be getting a rewrite soon! ------------------ Fighting, dragons were always fighting in the Rainforest. Not physically, but verbally. The Rainforest Kingdom was being torn apart by its residents. The RainWing's and NightWing's. Queen Dandelion and King Palmtree are doing nothing to calm down their tribe, so, someone else has to. Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T.
