Consider the household of the Dowager, the Viscountess Bridgerton, who's not only going to be shepherding, Miss Daphne Bridgerton, but her younger sister, Miss Elena Bridgerton, through the season's festivities.

Elena Bridgerton, although more open to marriage, is still much like her younger twin, Eloise and is still more educated and knowledgeable than all sisters about a certain topic. A passion for learning and her freedom burns, day and night, inside the young debutante. Follow her on her journey in finding a husband, while still trying to maintain what little freedom she has.

Simon Basset, a handsome man, newly Duke of Hastings, has but one goal in London, and that is to sort out his late father's affairs before returning to Clyvedon. In no want of a wife, the man has decided he shall not marry. Will that still be the case once he meets the young and seemingly innocent Elena?

This will have a tinny bit of Daphne bashing, and as Daphne is now no longer the main character, Elena will have most of her lines. Although, a lot of the lines have been changed to fit what I want the story to pan out to be.
