However, both learn much more about the place-and themselves- than they've ever known... dark and dangerous secrets lie below and they regret finding them, though it was for the better of some new friends. Also, I realize that even though this story is set in 2014, the games themselves didn't take place then. FNAF 1 took place in 1993. Our story starts in the year 2022, it is a peaceful autumn day and our protagonist and their friends are going to the first official Freddy Fazbear's. Our main character is a college student of the Second going on Third year Stead of going home to their chaotic family they decided to take their Thanksgiving break with their fiends to live out their childhood fantasy of going to Freddy's. I mean what's the worst thing that could happen William Afton and Vanny aren't real... Are they?
