Sofia Romanoff has been kept out of the public eye for years. Her mother Natasha has moved her around, and she's finally been taken to Avengers Headquarters while her mother and the famous superheroes fix a mess in Sokovia. Now 15, Sofi is tired of dying her hair every month and moving around so that people don't discover her true identity and her links to the infamous assassin turned hero mother. 
Being introduced to the well-known avengers, Sofi is brought into a new world of security she hasn't known before. As soon as she moves in with the other kids being protected at Headquarters, she and Lila Barton become fast friends. And Peter Parker, another moved-around kid, taken in by Tony Stark, makes her feel not so alone anymore. As the two bond over match-making the famous superhero group, including a possible match between Sofi's mother and the moody, dark haired Winter Soldier, Sofi's life has never been this good. But problems aren't over; enemies want to kill the kids to bait their parents and learning to live in a superhero base has its issues. 

Alternate Universe; set after After Civil War. Steve's side of the fight aren't in prison and the argument is more or less resolved. Bucky is allowed to join the Avengers. Hulk and Thor are still around, though. Description and characters explained in prologue. Bruce Banner is still missing, Thor is off who-knows-where doing who-knows-what, and the Avengers are scattered. Nevertheless, she's perfectly okay with being alone. She always has been. Knowing that Steve is alone, however? It worries her. And when HYDRA is involved, being alone may not be an option. --------------------------------------------------------------------- This fanfiction takes place after Civil War and before Infinity War. A few years of homeschooling later, my dad decided public school would be more beneficial for my childhood development. I'm obviously not good with new people, so this idea didn't thrill me. I somehow ended up making friends though. Things started to get weird after I woke up in hospital, people started looking at me weirdly and my dad felt distant. I start getting close with Peter, but I over hear something strange in the Avengers compound about myself, so I end up going to Peter's, trying to escape from the truth of happened many years ago. Will I run away with Peter and will everything go to plan? Or will the truth come out, leading to a relationship I'd never expected to happen? In this alternate universe, Loki is sent to Midgard after the fight over the Aether. The Avengers question the Allfather's sanity, but agree they would rather have Loki where they can keep an eye on him. So, after some extensive remodeling, the Avengers Tower and neighboring facilities are now an extensive training ground with everything they'll need to reform the once proud Asgardian prince. Thor is hopeful. He wants the brother he thought Loki was back. Clint (Hawkeye) is waiting for a reason to exact some much deserved revenge. Steve (Captain America) has hope that even the most hardened of evil doers can be changed for the better. No one quite knows what Natasha (Black Widow) is thinking. Tony (Iron Man) resents having to share his tower with a psychopath. Bruce (Hulk) did not fly away to Sakar. He's brooding away in his own private wing. Scott (Antman) is under house arrest... at the tower. Wanda (Scarlet Witch) is still mourning her brother while nurturing a still very naive Vision. (Neither are living in the tower. Will only play small, fleeting parts in this story.) Dr Strange refuses to move into the tower. After all, it is more important to keep up with his work at the Sanctum. Peter (Spiderman) is spending his summer at the Tower, much to the dismay of Aunt May, who knows how dangerous this is, but does not know Loki has returned. Sam (Falcon) will follow Cap to the ends of the earth, but refuses to jump off the proverbial bridge just because Cap's doing it. Bucky (Winter Soldier) is trying to atone for his past misdeeds, while learning what exactly they were, but is living in Wakanda with T-challa (Black Panther) so neither will be playing a large role in this story. Then there's Aite. She's new. She's the Greek goddess of mischief, delusion, folly, and ruin. You'd think her and Loki would be the best of friends... Not so much.

It's been almost two years since the defeat of Thanos & the effects of the snap was successfully reversed. The world has slowly picked up the pieces & everyone worked hard to resume their lives right off where the Decimation left them hanging. Some succeeded, as easily as pressing the play button after putting a movie on a long pause, while some were never the same again despite regaining everything and everyone they have lost. The Avengers were the lucky ones. Lucky enough to go back to their normal or fortunate enough to be given a fresh start. Tony & Pepper got married & jetted off in a private island to finally start their long overdue family life. Sam moved back to D.C & resumed his work at the VA. Rhodey continued working as a military consultant & Wakanda has never been more occupied as it became the number one tourist spot in less then a year. Clint went back to retirement tugging Wanda along with him to his farm where Laura welcomed her with open arms. Thor & Bruce were off-planet helping the remaining Asgardians settle on a new home. Fury rebuilt his super spy network with Maria overseeing operations at the Avengers Facility, recruiting, training a new breed of response team. And Steve finally got Bucky back & they have spent the past year back in Brooklyn, traveling the world once in a while & even participating in USO tours and fairs. Everyone tried to move on and rightly so because at the end of the day, that's pretty much what's expected of everyone after any tragedy. Natasha, too has moved on. The only problem is, she chose to move on alone. * I don't own any of these characters or wish to infringe on any copy or intellectual rights. I'm just someone who has a deep love for the MCU that I can't help but try to keep the story going, keep these characters alive in more adventures, especially with 'endgame' hovering, looming over us.*

It's been almost a month and a half since the destruction of Ultron and the city of Sokovia. No one has heard or seen Iris since. Little do they know that she's alive, well, and under the care of Carter, a man from her past. It isn't until Nick Fury picks Iris up from Carter's that Iris shows up unannounced at the New Avenger's facility, much to the bewilderment of the team. And, as always, Iris' luck is generally poor. After an accident on one of the New Avenger's missions, King T'Chaka of Wakanda brings up a serious concern that directly involves the Avengers and the way they work. Other issues arise and over 100 countries band together to create the Sokovia Accords. The Accords put the Avengers under the direct control of the United Nations, which strips the signing members of the freedom to fight when and where they believe they are needed. However, the Accords don't sit right with everybody on the team and it begins to tear friendships apart at the seams as some decide to sign. To make matters worse, a dirty bomb goes off and kills numerous people at the signing in Vienna. The worst part? Bucky Barnes is the one framed. Now he's the most wanted criminal in the world. But with the Accords in place, half the Avengers must sit on their hands and do nothing, while the other half tries to help Steve get his best friend back.
