A disastrous job leads the Crows to the doorstep of a failing inn in the middle of Kerch countryside. A nervous innkeeper claims to have information on their betrayer in Ketterdam, but as it becomes clear that there is more to them than a quiet farmland upbringing, Jesper makes it his personal job to learn their past - although it may have consequences for all of them.

(Possibly a lot) Basically Kaz loses his gloves and Inej looks for them. Then they get in a fight and she leaves. Complete! A Six of Crows AU: Set after Crooked Kingdom, before Rule of Wolves. The Crows are all still together, and Matthias isn't dead.
