"Have you heard about the legend of a man who travelled through the universe?"

"No", is what he replied, his eyes staring straight at the sky but his mind was elsewhere. And I knew for sure that he was thinking about her again. I smile forcefully, keeping my emotions at bay.

"Some people praised how wonderful it was, but they never knew how painful it really was for him", I continued on. "You see, whenever he crossed through space he was given a choice that is; to leave or to stay"

I caressed the flower in my palm, smiling as a grasshopper hopped freely through the field. "Why? He can just go back and forth, it's his ability after all", his voice broke through the silence, I can practically see his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. I was taken aback, it was practically a miracle that he seems interested in whatever I'm saying, his mind was always enveloped by the thoughts of her after all.

"Say, if he ever chose to leave this place, he can never come back here ever again"
