Once upon a time, in a land known as Annecy, lived a young prince named Alex. He was born into a family that had not been able to produce a son in years. Since girls had been the only heirs born for generations, the law of Annecy states that only a girl can take the throne and if a girl is not born that part of the family loses their spot and it is given to the next relative in line. To prevent Alex from losing his spot on the throne, his parents devise a plan that will require him to dress, appear, and behave like a princess; as the princess of Annecy, Alex has now been betrothed to the neighboring Prince Lucifer of Geneva.
