1. Why not? I rewrote this for fun.
2. I want to see how much I have improved. I reread my first book and I'm cringing at my younger 11-year-old self.
3. I added more plot and changed a few things
4. This is an Au and based on the anime. This means that things can be way different than they would be in the pokemon games and plotlines will change and differ. 
5. Power levels are VERY different. I have only watched Kanto, Kalos and Alola. As well as playing only Galar. So in this world, Kalos is known as a very strong region.

Mind you, this is an Oc/reader x Gladion Aether. 

Emika is a manipulative, strong and mysterious trainer who doesn't care much. along with her brother Sun, they continue their journey as trainers. But one meeting causes Emika to meet somebody like her. His name is Gladion, what adventures will they face? will something secret unfold?All Rights Reserved

Cassandra came to Galar running from a past she couldn't bring herself to face. Leon was running from his failure, and enemies that either wanted him on their side or dead. Be it fate or destiny, their meeting during a blizzard in the mountains was the start of a journey neither of them expected. The ending, however, is on a path wrought with danger. It's going to take everything they have to stop the madmen proclaiming themselves Kings and seem to bear some grudge against the legendary Warrior Pokemon who stopped Eternatus for a second time not long ago... I don't follow typical battle format of the game. I overall try to be realistic about the world, too. Like Pokemon eating Pokemon and people eating fish/bird Pokemon (i.e., Farfetch'd, poor thing). 3. Heavily AU. I basically take the post-game plot and run with it, making it a lot darker and more intense. I always thought it was such a silly plot line so yeah xD 4. Romance is cheese because I like cheese. This is actually my first mainly romance focus to go with adventure. It's kinda slight slow burn, but still happens kinda quick! 5. I don't know all canon history of regions perfectly so I take some liberties here and with other games' stories I involve, so also some heavy to light AU's for those games/areas, too! 6. Leon's character is my interpretation of things with my own spin on it, too, so sorry if he's a bit OOC? 7. Eventual smut towards the end, you're welcome. Feel free to comment, be it questions or mistakes you find! I always love answering :D

Rescued by an island guardian, taken in by the baddest group in Alola, and no recollection of her life as a young child---that describes Chloe perfectly. Being a young trainer, Chloe has ventured all over Alola at her leisure. For as long as she can remember, she's had a special connection to pokemon, and because of that, she's witnessed the darker side of groups like Team Skull and Aether. After months of peace free from the Ultra Beasts, Alola could be sent into another crisis when a Nihilego appears. Fortunately, Gladion, the acting president of Aether, is on the case to stop Nihilego and send it back to its world. But along the way, he meets and recruits Chloe, finding her way with pokemon to be useful on his mission. But things don't go as smoothly as planned, especially when Chloe and Gladion realize they have a lot more in common than they initially thought. Will their partnership bloom into something more? Why are Nihilego popping up at random across Alola? Everything will get a lot more complicated when Chloe discovers just how much of her past is connected to all of this. I do not own Pokemon or any images I use in this story. I only own my OC and the plot.
