The Castle rose from the ashes of a society scared of magic. It had become a sanctuary for all those of magical kind. That was until the leader decided to kidnap a small child from a broken household. Her name was Darcy. She had been labelled many things, but always did what was right. Even if it resulted in her suffering.
Escaping imprisonment Darcy strives for a normal life with her sister Saige.  Her demons won't stay quiet and to escape her haunted past she becomes the feared vigilante Purple Eye. Although her only motivation is to help people, she is torn apart when she receives a letter from the man she is falling for. Drawn back into the dangerous world of The Castle, Darcy and her sister Saige learn secrets that shouldn't be learned. Can they come out of this dangerous game unscathed?

There is an island on our world, one where they roam and have their own sophisticated society, mostly keeping to themselves. Mostly. One of these creatures is named Bianca. She has to travel to where the humans live, that's where she gets her food. One day, she goes in for the kill like normal, but can't continue. On the way home, she kept asking herself over and over again, "Why couldn't I kill him?" After realizing she has fallen for him, she returns to her hunting spot.
