I am now known as Noel Lilly Amberson. My real identity, where I am coming from, and why I am leaving are never to be known. They told us that if we move to Santa Monica where no one will know us, we would be safer there.

Dear Diary, August 8th, 2015
I need to get out of here! The men, they came by the house today looking for me. Auntie Grace told them I had left town earlier today. They left in there fancy cars, but I know they'll come back tonight. My brother said that the men want me for my powers, but... I don't have any. And so were leaving tonight. We're going to California. Someone bought us a house there. But... the people said we couldn't take anything... I, I don't know what's going to happen...
