My whole life i've felt out of place. Not just normal human out of place, out of place like I KNOW that I do not belong here.
There's no way to explain it, I know anyone who hears me say that will only chuckle and say welcome to the club. But its not just society that I am estranged from -its this world.
Every night I dream of bright colors, colors that I have no name for. I see things that don't make sense, structures that defy gravity, beings so strange...And then I loose it.

I have a secret that I don't share with most. I've been swept up into something bigger than anything I could ever imagine, and now I'm involved with more than just this one world. Our universe is bigger and more amazing than anyone realizes. Reality is merely subjective; we judge it based on what we experience and perceive, even when others do not share the same experiences. When my life turned upside down, I wasn't trying to fall in love; I wasn't trying to get too involved. When my senses all became shared with somebody else, I learned too much to turn away from it all. Her world, so near yet so far away, is something I can experience through her, our senses combined together, our realities overlapped between two places. It's there when my story started. This is our story. It has a beginning, but not an ending. The things that happened to me over all these years would have messed with most people's heads. I put up with all of it, because I couldn't hold back how I felt for her. Little did I know that love comes with a price. As amazing as it is to hear about someone finding their soulmate, it's something that can just as easily tear a person limb to limb, leaving nothing behind but dust. Romance isn't all about walking away in the sweet sunset; it's messy, complex, and downright terrifying at times. My abilities never made any of this easier.Complete

Different- 1) Not the same as another, or each other; Unlike in nature, form or quality. I thought being different was a good thing. You know, the whole 'Im not conforming to you' deal. I thought I was unique, my own person. Apparently not everyone thinks being different is a good thing. They're afraid of my difference. Maybe it's my long white hair? Or my glowing silver eyes? Or it could just be because.... I'm not fully human. I tried to keep it a secret. Really I did. I knew the consequence of something like this getting out. So my secret stayed a secret. I wasn't special, I wasn't a marine or a scientist sent here from earth to study Pandora, I was a behaviorist-some say behaviorists are scientists too; but the brain isn't made up of mathematics and hope, it's like the roots of trees. Forever speaking but unheard. I study people's brains and their behavior. I don't look at it with hope and faith. I'm nothing special, not really. When I was accepted to help with Project Pandora, I was exhilarated. This was my big break, something to get me out there. I never expected for it to spiral into my life unprofessionally-become personal, emotional. That I would have to fight in a war between man and alien, choose between my own people and a clan of beings that accepted me-welcomed me, trained and made me one of them.
