Following a malfunction during one of Dottore's experiments, Childe is lost to the Abyss for a week. Summoned to Snezhnaya to assist, Zhongli meets a darker and more tormented Childe than the one who left Liyue only weeks prior, and thus begins his journey to help return Childe to his prior self. Unless, of course, the version of Childe that Zhongli once knew has already been lost to the Abyss' call...
