After destroying Ragnarok, Zero fell in the middle of a semi-desert and was still alive but suffered a lot of severe damage and was about to stop working but... the sand drowned him.  There are robots that repair Zero, modify his body and make him more human-like, put the robots in a mysterious capsule, and consume all the laboratory's energy, and all the mechanisms stop working, but the will of fate has come in the year 25xx, a hunter named Millie frees Zero.
