When Error CQ received the bad end of their story, he couldn't take it, no, he would not take it. He could not let go, especially since there could be a chance to help Geno, like in the time travel stories!

So when he found out the existence of the RESET button, his Determination coursed through him, he wanted, no, he NEEDED to save Geno... To stop his brothers from dying. By his own hands or from the sickness...

So with that Determination coursing through him, His will to SAVE his family starts.

He never took into account on how hard it will be, or how much it'll take a toll on his mental health.

Only to be met with flames and ashes as he comes home to watch his new apartment that he moved into, burned to the ground. panic rushes through him as the realization that he cant end his life anymore, only to come across a realization. everyone thinks hes dead.. should he keep it that way..? Error uses this opportunity to leave his city, taking all his money and using it to leave his home-town, and go to the large city of Pentral. his new life begins as he meets new faces for the first time. but his family isnt so sure.. they never found Errors burned up clothing in his apartment when they put out the fire. nor did they find his phone, or his dust. His bank acount is emptied and people think they saw Error leave the building. Geno has a strong feeling his brother is alive. and he wants to prove to Error that he doesnt have to run anymore. to prove that Error is strong. to prove that Error is still ALIVE. We all have that problem that's a burden on us, a problem if we just faced it our lives would be so much easier, but its a problem that's so hard to tackle, that it's simply easier to push it to the side for now. We go about our lives believing we have plenty of time to fix things and resolve that problem, but deep down we all know that isn't true. That problem is a ticking time bomb where one day it will be too late to fix, yet we are to scared to face that reality so instead everyone goes along with the naive hope that everything will be fine. However one day reality will hit and it will hit hard. You never know when it's going to come knocking; you're never ready for your life to abruptly change but it can happen anytime. For one Diluc Ragnvindr, reality hit him hard! He never expected his life to change that night but when he walked up those tavern stairs, his fate was sealed and the timer had started. tldr: Diluc finds Kaeya poisoned in the tavern and realises he's racing against time t save his brother but also get to reconcile with him.

So they deviate from the script, attempt to fulfill the purpose that brought them to the mountain in the first place in a last attempt to break free from the resets. It doesn't work. (But suicide is a pretty memorable thing, and emotions may just be a little bit stronger than memories. Especially to the person who finds their dead body.) This is a story I wrote in 2016 when I was in a mental health clinic dealing with my own depression and suicidal thoughts. Viewer discretion is advised.
