A "World of Thelarra" Novel. SPIRIT AND BONE BOOK ONE of the BONDS OF FATE series. -------- In the Sedran Empire, to be Chosen was the greatest of honors. For centuries, the Empire has charged those blessed to be Chosen by the Spirits with the task of advancing the Sedran cause, and most of the time that led them to the Sedran Legions. For Rellian Myre, being forced into a life of service to the Legions was the worst thing he could ever imagine. But the chances of that were slim to none. After all, only the most elite of the elite usually had the opportunity to enter the Tower of Spirits and forge a Bond with a Spirit, and for Rell, who had grown up alone in the streets of Imperial City, there was no chance he would ever enter the Tower. But a serial killer, coined 'the Slayer' by the people of Imperial City, is on the loose, with a taste for the blood of the Chosen. When Rell becomes a witness to one of the Slayer's murders, all of his options disappear. Because the only place he might be safe is the Academy of Spirits, the school where all new Chosen in the continent are sent to be trained and taught to harness their Bond. If he could sneak into the Tower, all who were Chosen - regardless of who they were or where they were from - were required by the Pact to be sent to the Academy. And if he could survive the classist, angry students from his own country and emerge on top, maybe he would even be able to avoid being forced to join the Legions. There were a lot of ifs, but with the Slayer now after his life, Rell is left without a choice. He would have to enter the Tower and become a Chosen, no matter the cost. Fate, it seemed, had plans of its own for him. And it was waiting for him inside the Tower of Spirits. Patient. Eager. And ancient.

《 Highest Ranking: #5 in Vampire 》 "Is that Marcus? Marcus as in, from our High School Marcus!" Casey squeaked. I spun around, not quite believing her, but there he was. He strode through the school like he owned it and my god, he could've. He'd changed over the four years he'd been gone. It was like god himself had carved him from a statue. His cheekbones could cut a finger and a jaw that could slice a hand. He was taller, more muscular. He looked nothing like the boy that went away. He wore a blacket jacket and ripped jeans, his grey eyes studied the school as every female studied him. Suddenly, they slipped past every other person's eyes and landed on mine. No surprise etched his face, it was like he didn't recognise me. Until I saw the corner of his mouth lift up. ~~ Best friends, Diana and Marcus planned to do everything together. They would go to college and live in the same dorm room, they would always be best friends. But, Marcus went away. Without expecting him to return, Diana uses her heartbreak to change her life. She becomes popular in college.. Then one day, he shows up. But he's changed, he's darker, more silent and definitely a lot more hotter. He'd grown taller, his face sharper and he drew eyes from every woman on campus, even the guys. He spoke to no one and didn't even acknowledge her until she spoke to him. But something was very off. Very off, indeed. Cover Design: @newsies- Copyright @tavanalee No Rights Reserved 2018
