What would you do if you moved all the way from New York to a small town in Georgia, having to completely change all of your tactics of getting through the day?

That's what fourteen year old Emily Waters asks herself as she enters the building of her new school. After finally finding her first period class, she sits next to the most beautiful girl she has ever seen--or actually bothered to look at, really.
This girl is named Alice Bach, a fourteen year old with one odd feature that has resulted in bullying from classmates: her eyepatch.
These two meet and automatically feel a connection, and will stop at nothing to be with each other. As the girls grow closer, Emily begins to wonder about the secret behind that eyepatch.

Little did she know that she was in for the adventure of her life.
