Snowflake Stars and Broken Hearts - a Dark Poetic collection
we are human and humans are both fragile and far too good at breaking things so we leave trails of broken hearts behind us and perhaps our poems can pick up the pieces and fit them together differently because isn't a mosaic more beautiful than shards of stone? Rankings: #283 as of 20th May 2017 #214 as of 19th July 2017 #209 as of 20th July 2017 my second poetry collection, anomy, is now up on my profile.Complete

One Thousand Tears
I've tried to release this pain in so many different ways; But writing about you seems to be one of my faves. I don't understand how I find closure When I know it only lasts until the poem is over. Somehow it feels like some sort of imaginary relief to my reality. As if, the pain I feel only exists until the words are free. I know how crazy it may seem Because the heartbreak will always be there; And I will never un-feel what you've done to me.Complete

Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.Complete
Things I only told the night.
“And if there's one thing I've ever known for sure, it's that this girl is gonna crush me like a small bug, leave me so fucking broken there'll be body bags beneath my eyes from nights I cried so hard the stars died. But I'm like, go ahead. I'm all yours. I would kiss you in the middle of the ocean during a lightning storm, because I'd rather be left dead than left to wonder what thunder sounds like.” Andrea GibsonComplete
