Adelaide and Jason are newcomers to the alien world, due to their situations that ended up having them "saved"-more like abducted- and transported and turned into aliens.
Every alien is required to find their blood matches, which is a specific human person that has a blood type that is alike to theirs, and have to thrive off of their blood for up to three months in order to survive in the alien world. It sounded pretty easy to these two, that is until Jason realized he'd be having to deal with someone-and something-he'd been glad to have escaped from for a while.
