The Lost
Scary stories of a place called a city are whispered throughout the tribes of the forest. Rumours of great grey forts with monstrous towers, sprawling walls... a place crawling with the monsters everyone so fears. Humans. --- Despite a slightly concerning size difference, Lyn and Lucius are the best of friends that share one common goal: find Lyn's family. A sudden twist in their lives thrusts the two of them into the sprawl of the human city, and achieving that goal suddenly seems impossible. When Lyn and Lucius cross paths with two strange girls, their priorities are tested. These strangers seem to be able to answer Lyn's biggest question: where does she come from? But a pressing problem must be resolved before they can show her. Who is Aspen, and why are these people so desperate to find him? --- This is the continuation to my other story called The Winged. It isn't a direct continuation, but I would recommend reading the other story first to avoid confusion.
