I can still remember how it used to be...life was pretty great. Well, of course I wouldn't have admitted that then because then it seemed like a pretty average (boring) life. I was an average teenager who went to a regular school, who didn't have many friends. I had parents who loved me; and I can surely say that I didn't appreciate them as much as I should have. So I guess the phrase is true: you don't realize what you have till its gone. Yep, I can see now that life was amazing...at least until the world turned to hell.
Hailey Matthews had an average life...before everything in the world instantly went wrong. One day, suddenly teenagers start to disappear. No one really paid attention to it until a girl suddenly reappeared claiming that she was kidnapped and tortured. Following shortly afterwards, all of the teenagers began getting taken and tortured. So Hailey, alongside her best friend Austin, make a run for it. So what happens when Hailey's only companion gets kidnapped and she meets a dangerously mysterious boy who claims to know what's going on...I guess you'll have to read to find out.
